Default 3(tre)is it good in italy? - 15-03-2007, 23:38

I saw a offer like 2 lg u310 for EUR 199 in tre website.
http://www.tre.it/3foryou/Promozioni...4_ITA_HTML.htm
Because I only understand a little italian, I'm not quite understand.
I got a tim prepaid number,is it possible to use that number in this 3G cellphone? Or is it better to change to TRE?
Any suggestion, I will be appreciate..

Yeah, 3 is good, but if you want to use that option you have to "move" your TIM number to 3. All LG phones sold by 3 are sim-locked, so you cannot use them with other operators.

The best plan, now, is Super 3, if you do long calls.

I recommend you this operator, I'm so good with 3 here in Italy.

I have used my "3 Italia" SIM (prepaid "Super 3" tariff) to make and receive calls to/from Italy in Austria under the coverage of "3 Austria". According to "3 come a casa" - "3 Like home", they should be billed like Italian domestic calls. It was OK when I called Italian numbers. But when I received calls I was billed 28,8 cents PER MINUTE. However, the description of "3 come a casa" on the "3" website says "28,8 cent € di scatto alla risposta" and not per minute! Do I have to register the "3 come a casa " service, or what's wrong with the billing. I also waited one day for it to be corrected, but it wasn't. Happy Easter! Buona Pasqua!

"3 come a casa" works only to call Italian numbers and for calls received by Italian numbers, if I'm not wrong... otherwise the Eurotariff applies.

this is Eurotariff, you pay as set-up fee and you can speak one minute at that cost
