Default GT-Sim refund or renewal - 20-10-2007, 10:33

I have had my GT-SIM card fro about 10 months and it is well in credit. However, they have disconnected me and do not reply to my emails when I ask them for renewal or refund.

All advice/comments gratefully received

Welcome to the forum. If you go back and read posts in the past month, you will see that many companies based on the IOM (Isle of Mann) system have shut down. There are rumors that some may (have?) start up operation again.

Make use of T-M's UMA/wifi free calling from any place in the world with access to wifi. I use an LG G6, wife an S7)
A/o Oct 20, 2013 no need for intl prepaid as T-Mobile U.S. includes voice roaming at 20¢/min (in and out)., unlimited text (in and out), and unlimited data in 140+ countries.

My Plan -[6 lines] U.S. T-Mobile unlimited minutes (incoming and outgoing), unlimited text, fast data on each line. that $145/mo. total! . (In U.S. no surcharge for calling a cell.) If a line exceeds 2G of data in a month, pay $10 more for that line. [That only happens a couple times/year.

With emphasis on the word may...personally I don't hold out much hope...I think we're all, shall I say it, screwed.

Hello again.
I looked at the Travelfone website today :http://www.travelfone.com/

It says a large number of international sims have been suspended and that it plans to issue new sims to replace the existing ones. When ?

Many IOM resellers probably won't resume service. Others are scrambling and trying to obtain another source of service to sell.
My two cents (Euros, Pounds).

Hi,

due to GT-SIM Hotline, the platform depends on which website you ordered a GT-SIM (www.gt-sim.de, www.gt-sim.com, www.gt-sim.co.uk, www.gt-sim.com.au). German residents who ordered on www.gt-sim.de got a GT-SIM, which works (worked) on Callkey.com platform. Mr. Hauschild told me earlier, GT has agreements with 3 English networks (among them, Manx). Is here anyone, who has a GT-SIM, which works on another platform than Isle of Man/Manx Telecom?

In my GT-SIM Login, I now have a new feature: GT-Webcall prepaid. It seems to be the same as www.deskcall.com. I can send SMS or establish calls: enter own number and recipient number - the system calls you on the "owner number" and the call to the recipient will be established.

Regards,
Klaus
