Mango ...10?/minute! Be aware that they apparently don't have voicemail available (which in a way is a blessing for enlinea [and CBW]) and the phone was unable to register during my entire 1 week stay in Switzerland.

Interestingly enough, I just checked the enlinea web site and it does say 10?/minute for Iceland-US but 18?/minute for Iceland special-USA but I have all my calling records through yesterday 26/06/06 and indeed all the calls were at 10?/minute!

I have not checked enlinea's site in a while until now. I am assuming the spc rate listed is for mobiles. So, in the case of UM/riiing it's $0.57 for FL - USA compared to $0.14 in the case of CBW.

Let me repeat...one would think you're correct. However for whatever the reason on my last trip to Europe which just terminated I was in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France and the UK and while O9 could not register in Switzerland, from all other countries enlinea service was quite reliable and I was billed 10?/minute in 6 second intervals for all calls to the USA so either luckily for me enlinea billing program is wrong or O9 is not listed as an Iceland special.

09 numbers are relatively new so some providers count them as landline and this is the case of enlinea.

Is there a minimum charge of one minute and then six seconds billing or not;

Hello,
anybody knows whats going on with 09 Mobile?

I just put the card in my parents phone and wanted to show them how to use the callback on their holiday (they fly tonigh.....) and: nothing happens at all.
No callbacks come in and the card is not reachable at all.

And when calling the hotline number it rings forever but noone picks up.

Superb timing indeed. 2 weeks ago when i checked the card before their holiday everything was still fine.

UM is working...O9 abruptly seems not to be working anymore...my O9 sim registers on T Mobile in the USA but using my ancient SE300, when making a call (using check balance) where once I pretty quickly got a message "message sent" and then the call went through, today, it says "calling" stays on that for a while and fails to do anything else. It is also ominous that their 24 hour help line is not answering.

Perhaps it's a temporary glitch but my sense is (hope I'm wrong) they're history.

Mine is also not working. It registers on networks (tried different ones) but I cannot call the sim from various routes and also callback does not work.....
I hope it is temporary. Recently they have also updated their web site, which does not lead us toward their possible closure....
