In Belgium we already have similar offers for about 6 months.
99 euro's unlimited national (Fixed and Mobile).
Add another 21 euro's and you have unlimited data.

This is offered by Mobistar and Base.

The difference between USA and Europe is very simple, In USA the cellular carriers are not making any money besides the monthly premiums, In Europe, providers still make money on incoming calls, which gives them more potential for larger profits.

But the US offer is somewhat better, because it would be the same if Mobistar and Base would offer unlimited calls to all of Europe or at least the EU.

Default All postpaid plans - 21-02-2008, 03:35

These are all contract & postpaid rather than prepaid plans. Most contract plans have UNLIMITED nights and UNLIMITED weekends. Mostly enough for the consumer. The business customer may need the daytime minutes. They would not be in prepaid plans anyway.

Exactly Snaimon. Most individuals on contract will probably have no need for this since they already have more minutes than they know what to do with it. For example, our family plan with AT&T with 2 phones already has unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited minutes to minutes, and rollover minutes, and 1400 anytime minutes. All for $89/month.

Phones: Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Samsung Galaxy A50, ASUS zenfone 3,

Btw, ATT will offer this plan on a month to month basis, these unlimited plans are already offered by liberty wireless, Hyperlink and some other Mvno's, but will now be offered by the big guys as well.

Tmobile and Sprint are likely to copy this plan. A couple of other things.

First, for anyone out there with US credit, ATT will now do month-to-month contracts if you are not looking for a subsidized phone. Second, Verizon will now activate any unlocked CDMA phone, not simply a Verizon one.

A lot is happening right now in the US market and it is worth watching things over the next couple of months. I also hope that some of these new plans will influence the market to our North.

Yep! Tmobile already announced it. And sprint was the one that started it first.
