Well, for TIM you have to dial 4916 (credit service) then after the "credit" message, dial 2 - 2 - 2 for switch to English or 2 - 2 - 3 for German.
Sorry but i don't know about vodafone. Prepaids:Wind (I) Blau (D) T-Mobile (NL) T-Mobile (D) Deceased Prepaids:1 Mobile (I) Ortel (NL) Orange (F) Lebara (UK) |

I cannot find anywhere in TIM or Voda's rate that they come anywhere close to the .20/min rate that Wind has to call the US from Italy? Jeff |

TIM and Voda are by far more expesive than Wind in most of the cases. I think TIM should have something for "immigrants" to call outside Italy at cheaper rates, but every time I search on its site I get lost...

That should be the "Tim welcome home", but the only advantage (?) will be that calls between the phones that have the same plan (in Italy) the price is of 0,06 eur/min, similar to the "Tim Tribu" plan.
Otherwise, calls VS Usa/Canada/EU are billed at 0,50 eur/min like the "unica new" plan and for the other countries...well...reaaly expensive!! From 0,80 eur/min to China to 3.-eur/min to Macedonie. http://www.tim.it/consumer/o736/tariffa.do (Funny that from Netherlands, with my Ortel sim, the same calls will be repect. 0,12 and 0,30 eur/min!!)
