Default Travelsimshop not answering refund request - 21-12-2007, 09:20

I purchased a global sim card from travelsimshop in August. It allowed one outgoing call, but never worked for incoming calls. They went and canceled the card (I hadn't requested this), but have never refunded my money. I have created 3 support tickets with increasing levels of severity and they have never bothered to reply to me. I bought it with paypal. All I want is a refund of the purchase price plus the remaining balance on the sim card. Any ideas how to get them to cough up the money they now owe me?

Is this an IOM based 07624/07924 number? If it is, you bought at the wrong time. They went out of business around that time. I had a freeGlobalsim card that had the same issue. Hopefully you did not have too much credit on it(Don't topup any of these sim cards unless you have to). It's one of those things where you just count your losses and move on.

Default Website not working? - 26-12-2007, 18:58

1400 EST (~ 2000 MEZ) - travelsimshop.com is not loading for me. Are they still in business or is it just my internet connection? Obviously, I can access this site.

Default site working now - 1830 EST - 26-12-2007, 23:33

Either back up now or my employer, the US War Department, is blocking the site. I got a timeout message.

The website works perfectly, I also recharged my simcard a couple of days ago, all went flawlessly. It's also strange that they are not answering to travelcat, usually Andreas of Travelsim is a very kind person and answers promptly... maybe he's on the mountains skiing for Christmas holidays!

Yes, a week / ten days is a right time for an international mail.
