Yackie Mobile...what gives.
I just followed up with Yackie, and got this message that I believe was sent out to all customers:

noreply@yackiemobile.com

Subject: Please confirm...

Dear Yackie Mobile Customer; Can you please confirm if you received your refunds for your Yackie Mobile SIM card order? All transaction were completed. We need to notify our bank if you have not received it as yet. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused you. Best regards Yackie Mobile Customer Support

Hopefully you all got this message. If not, I have included the e-mail address I received it from.

Yes. I got the same exact message a few minutes ago. I also followed up with yackie earlier this AM. Not really sure what's going on. Seems like there is some misinformation somewhere.

I have actually been in frequent contact with Yackie over the past few days. I just began some field testing with them this morning on new phone numbers. There was an issue with the codecs between the Florida DID numbers and Yackie's system, so new phone numbers were required. The new numbers are once again Ohio-based numbers. Preliminary testing overall was encouraging, with both outgoing and incoming calls coming through. There are currently a couple kinks that they are working through regarding calls from landline numbers, but hopefully they will be worked out shortly, and we all should be getting some positive news soon.

As per the other threads, I do not think anyone in this forum received a refund.

While doing this testing were you able to verify that calls were being billed correctly? Are calls that did not complete such as busy calls, or calls that failed still being billed? Also, were you using the same old sim card with the deactivated DID (could not receive incoming calls) during this testing? Currently, the call log shows all calls(failed, busy, etc.) appropriately, but bills $0.35 for them. So, were you able to verify that this is no longer happening? It's good to now that calls are completing both ways successfully, but what about their billing? It will not help much if one gets the new sims but the billing is still off.

Nope! No promised credit, no promised new SIM card, and a Yackie SIM card that is no longer working for incoming calls.

Dear Bossman

I can not let you say that...

The bank who have processed the sells for all Prepaid GSM customers is the well Fargo.

We have cancelled and refunded all orders from prepaid Gsm Members, and we have for proof all transactions number from the processing system.

Why this money is not yet in your credit card statement? this is a question that my accounting department ask to the WF bank.

From our side every thing was clear, but some thing seem to be wrong.

It shall be resolved, all customers, both with a SIM cards or not was refunded and will have their money back.

So this refund issue shall be resolve soon, and we will work with you for that

After.....

The Free Sim card...

I have decide, and me personnaly, without any advise......to send a free card for all prepaid customers, and this shall be made next week, during our yackie mobile seminary to Miami

All yackie offices will be present for our annual seminary, and we will ship the cards to the fews Prepaid customers who have reply to our email

What was this email? simple

Can you confirm you still be interested to have a free sim card ( witht 5 $ air time, just for checking that yackie mobile is still the best solution ) and for confirming your delivery address

We will not ship a card to a customer who are not anymore interested.

Third

The incoming calls

We have it is true a small technicall issue between our Voip GW and our GSM GW, we can assign a DID Number from france and it's work perfectly, from any other country also, BUT not from the USA......you can receive the call, we can hear you, not you.....

This shall be resolve also next week and i hope tomorow, and as soon as this shall be fixed, YOU will have your did number as promise.

Yackie is the best solution, we know that, we trust in our products.....let us show you that we are right...

Have a great Week end
