Default Charges for SMS delivery reports - 29-10-2009, 11:16

Recently I found out that A1 Austria (contract) charges delivery reports with the same price as the SMS itself. That was completely new to me as delivery reports in all my other (in about 10) networks/providers are free.

Are there other companies known who charge for these reports?

There was some fuss when Orange UK started charging, perhaps a penny per report. But not everyone noticed, or maybe the change was deferred or cancelled for existing contracts, I'm not sure - there were still new forum threads being started to complain more than a year later.
