09 has been working for me while testing it out in the US. rates are high. Web site is not up to date: sms is available as while as voicemail. Online billing does not work. You have no ideal on where your money is going for out going calls. You have to call them and they will tell you what you have left. No way of checking for errors on billing.

What indicates to you voicemail is available as well as sms if there is nothing on their web site...

Incidentally on the rate calculator they still list a price to call from Switzerland to the USA despite the fact aht Switzerland is not listed in their list of ocuntries where the sim works.

I was just using the card quite intensely in Mexico.
There was no trace of SMS or voicemail. Dont know what our collegue here tested. Voice worked 100% fine though. Sound quality was really good and also the CBW callbacks came trough. The longest callback took about 20 seconds to arrive, most others were within a few seconds.

During the whole stay 12ct were deducted from my balance. I only used CBW calls and checked the balance some times.

For this time i'm content with the card. Last year in Namibia the card didnt work at all - didnt register to any network even though its listed. In South Africa before it worked flawlessly.

Its always good to have a backup with you...

ah then i have to check again for SMS.

It connected and worked on Telcel and Movistar. I usually used Movistar as the coverage was better.

Default Spoke with them on line , they stated sms-voice was on - 27-05-2007, 21:39

Hello, I called them from the stated tested and received voice mail twice, and the call code to receive it was 096. I did not check the sms, but the man stated it was in service and the cost was .49 euros. I did not check because voicemail was .69 euros. . Just testing this card out before my daughter took it today for her trip to Ecuador, it has cost me 28 euros (just testing). I was upset because there was no way to check to see what I was being billed for. You have to take their word because the online service is not working.

I will be leting you all know how it works in Ecuador, she arrives at 9pm est.

Using any of the international sims from the US is very expensive. That sure is a very expensive test! I would have to think the call rates are on their website though.

Edit: Just checked out the 09 page here. If you were calling a US number, it's 3.60 euro/min. ouch! And incoming calls in the US are 0.99 euro/min. You definitely do not want to be performing any extensive test on those cards here.
