Hello,
a question for our US-based members: Does the Cingular Pay-as-you-go service offer GPRS Data services? Or lets ask in general: What is the cheapest solution to get some GPRS Data for email and icq for a 3 month trip to the US (except WIND which i already know)... We'd prefer one sim-card for voice and data Chris Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi) International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31 Phones: Huawei Mate7, Huawei P9 |

Yes, cingular prepaid does offer GPRS.
http://onlinestorez.cingular.com/cell-phon..._requestid=7163 Now, tmobile's sim are the cheapest and easiest to get, but they only offer GPRS access to their free limited tzones. With Cingular, you get full GPRS access. Sim cards: AT&T (Contract), 3 UK, Piranha Mobile |

Cingular - AT&T -
12-01-2007, 13:50
I didn't want to open a new thread for this, but according to several sources, including Cellular News the newly merged AT&T will be dropping Cingular brand in favour of AT&T (wireless). There will be a transition period in which both brands are used together, after which Cingular will be phased out.
