Default EuropaSIM - 12-11-2012, 13:47

I've been using the EuropaSIM for a few months now in Germany and Belgium - works well.

It's essentially a re-packaged Voda IT SIM, but the German guy supports online top-ups with an 3.90-ish fee per transaction.

Good service. I don't speak Italian but need mobile email - slot the SIM into Novatel MiFi and it just works and powers my smartphone plus tablet in hotel rooms plus out and about.

hi
thanks for the reply! yes it works well and the test is performed in Denmark.
i am surprised that 2euro 100mb works when vodafone do not even offer it!
Have made log on vodafone.it so I can see remaining credit.
Think it's an ok deal! it is only necessary with a sim for many countries in the European Union. and you can recharge online from home.
I know sim expires after a year, but if you recharge 10 euros today will it also larst a year? (of course with no use)

Credit does not expire on prepaid italian sims. Sims do expire.

What are the grandfathering rules for Italian operators, Vodafone in particular, when it comes to expired options?

We know Vodafone no longer offers the EUR2/100MB roaming option; are they likely to remove it from existing SIM cards?!
