Hi Effendi. Thanks for the information. As I was reading it (translating the website Italian with an online translator!) I found that the Vodafone offer you recommended seemed to expire last July. That was written in the information further down.

So what do you think is the most recent offer they do to replace that one?

On that page there's not written anything about an expiration in July. It's still activable, as far as I know...

Not sure if this helps, but today I bought a 3 ( www.drei.at/ ) Internet ToGo package that includes a Huawei E1500 USB key and 2GB bandwidth for €55. The reason I mention it is that this package includes free roaming in Italy (plus UK, Ireland, Sweden, etc.) So if you plan to travel to Austria on the way to Italy, this may be a better deal. Also the 3 UK site has similar packages, also with free roaming within 3's global network, so it's worth doing some comparisons, even within the 3 world.

3 UK abolished the "3 like home" tariff, so there's no more free roaming on 3 networks abroad.

Yes, but it still exists on other "3" operators around the world, and it works while roaming on 3 UK network.

Ah yes Effendi - you are right. It was Vodafone's Internet Small that had the expiry date in July.
