I have found that texts sent via my E it sim card are not being received my MTS customers in Manitoba Canada.

I also found that if I use the Telus network with Ekit and send a text, the messages gets in a loop and will resend the text every minute for up to 20 minutes.

Ekit - a pain so far!

Look up their customer service number on their web site or in your paperwork and tell them. They really can't fix things if they do not know they are broken. Ekit has been around longer than almost all their competition. They will fix things if they know about them. Most people here have had very good experience with them.

Thumbs down Simple Calling - Ekit - GARBAGE PRODUCT - 10-02-2012, 14:56

I have the E kit Simple calling sim for my Iphone 3GS for your a year, each time I activate my US number, and travel I have issues.

This week I flew to Colorado via Regina. The day before I activated my USA #, the phone would not to on the Rogers network only Telus in Winnipeg, I called E kit customer service, they gave my the usual long list of excuses and things to try, nothing worked.

I change planes in Regina, and have a couple of hours to wait. Phone hooks up to Bell but I cannot dial out.

I am using the 1+pin as told by Ekit.

I get to Denver, cannot hook up to AT&T at all.

Next day I email my iphone guru buddy, he says try the 2+pin password, it hooks nup to AT&T but I cannot callout, and the text messages are 79 cents each and I get a test message from E kit to use 1+pin password which does not work.

BOTTOM LINE - EKIT is garbage and unreliable, stay away!!

Did you try this:
Quote:
iPhone
Tap 'Settings'
Tap 'Phone'
Tap 'SIM Applications'
Tap 'Callback'
Tap 'Callback mode'
Tap 'Callback 4'
If you have followed the above instructions and cannot make outgoing calls please tap 'Callback 5' (instead of Callback 4).

or

If the call back does not occur, or if you hear a message saying the call cannot be completed, your handset may not be fully compatible. To resolve this problem, all you need to do is enter the number you wish to call prefixed with *126* followed by country code, area code (without the leading 0), phone number and #.

Example 1: if you wish to call 03 9010 0225 in Australia, you would dial *126*61390100225#
Example 2: if you wish to call 0207-943-2772 in the UK, you would dial *126*442079432772#
Example 3: if you wish to call 213-337-5555 in the US, you would dial *126*12133375555#
