Here's an impression of T-mobile prepaid Xtra Card Web'n'Walk in september 2010.

3G prepaid internet in Germany

Though a bit more expensive than others, the prepaid sim card allows 1Gb bandwidth at 3G speeds per day.

If not in reach of a 3G signal or less bandwidth will do, other german networks have a more cost-effective deal.
