It will sell out, because Apple has that kind of power. It isn't a bad product, although it isn't as cutting edge as Apple would have everyone believe. The main innovations are the UI and the multi-touch screen. Most other features are ho-hum, and I suspect iPhone 2 will be a much more complete device (GPS, 3.2 or 5mp camera, TV-out jack, 3G) that are lacking in the current version.

I also understand that the sim card can not be removed. This makes the phone useless if you want to go to Europe. I also understand that the battery has to be recharged. There is no replacement battery for the phone. I wonder what happens if you have a bad battery.
