Can someone point me to 3G coverage maps for Italy. I will be in SouthEast Calabria for an extended period and would like to use a data card for my computer. I cannot find coverage maps specific to 3G in that area.

The only official 3G map in Italy is the one in the site of 3, but it's really small:
http://www.tre.it/selfcare/133online/4738_...ra_ITA_HTML.xsl If you tell us where exactly you are going we can tell you something more. But unless it's a mayor town, I think you won't find much 3G, expecially in Calabria. Deceased Prepaids: CZ: Oskar, Eurotel; SK: Orange; DE: E-Plus, Aldi, Simyo; GE: Geocell; AM: Armentel; PL: Heyah, Plus; LT: Tele2; LV: Amigo; EE: Elisa; UA: Kyivstar; NZ: Vodafone; INT: UM, UM+, ICQSim. GSM/3G Phones: Nokia Lumia 630 dual sim |

I will be in Gioiosa Ionica most of the time. I know a few of the surronding towns have 3g coverage, but I cannot find a map showing the extent of the coverage.
Thank you for your assistance. |

According to the info supplied by operator websites, neither TIM nor Vodafone IT have 3G coverage in Gioiosa Ionica (RC). Only GSM/GPRS coverage.
You can benefit of EDGE data transfer speed if you use TIM, not really 3G speed but better than nothing. |
