Default Vodafone DE's "Web Sessions" Offer - 08-06-2008, 17:37

Does anyone know if this offer is still good:

Also note that this website has a discussion area that kind of overlaps our own:

Yes, WebSessions are still valid (see http://translate.google.com/translat...F8&sl=de&tl=en).
The required German Vodafone prepaid SIM is called "CallYa" and not "CallNow", as the cited page says. "CallNow" is the designation of the top-up vouchers.
You can get a CallYa SIM for absolutely free at http://www.gratis-callyakarte.de/ (shipping only within Germany) or ask me and I'll send you a spare CallYa SIM also abroad.

Default Seems to still be valid - 08-06-2008, 17:52

From their help and support I searched on Web Sessions

http://www.vodafone.de/business/tari...nd/102292.html

As I wrote, if they display prices, etc on their FAQ, I think it is still valid. List of countries also provided.

I had an eye on this on the Vodafone site the other day. Going by the coverage map, I might need to investigate high-gain aerials

Are there special 3g/HSDPA SIM cards? Would three years be too old and I'd need a new one?

You don't need any special SIM card. Vodafone DE admits even old GSM-SIMs to their 3G-network, so you don't need a USIM.
