Question USB modem O2 - 26-08-2012, 23:22

Hy, I have a problem with a USB modem from O2 that my mother joust bought with 50€ from a shop in Germany, it can't connect to the internet and I do not know why... I'm from Romania and I don't know how are the internet connections there, how they are provide by the O2 T-mobile or others...can't any one help me please with some ideeas what can she do to get on the web?? Thanks!!!

Well first, what SIM are you using? Is the modem/adapter unlocked? Have you set the correct access point? Have you installed the appropriate software?

It's hard to identiy your mum's issue with a description limited to "can't connect to the Internet".

Has you mum installed the dashboard software? If so what is it called? Mobile Partner?

In case it's Mobile Partner what happens after she launches it? Will it detect the modem and ask for a PIN code? Will it show signal bars in the lower left edge?
