AFAIK this is not correct. medionmobile follows the same rules as e-plus' traditional prepaid product, Free & Easy -- you get one year of prolonged validity with every € 15 top-up, up to a maximum of 2 years.

The SIM I have here that has been used for 3G data and thus recharged somewhat extensively up until a few months ago is stated as valid until September 6th, 2009 under 1155.

Regards,
Chris.

Sorry chrget, but your info isn't correct.
Check the page, it makes it clear.

15€ gives you one year from the moment you recharge.
Only 30€ give you 2 years. So two 15€ vouchers used on the same only give you one extra year.

You do of course realize that the information provided there might simply not reflect the status quo, do you?

It may simply not be official policy.

Like using 3G data, which was never communicated officially by medionmobile -- just GPRS.

Or the possibility of topping up with Free & Easy vouchers.

So obviously things like that may be subject to change at a moment's notice. Which doesn't mean that they're not true.

Regards,
Chris.

Of course you can base you info on what you think they do or on what they say they do. They deactivated my card (never recharged) in december. So they did what they said they'll do, but who knows. Hearsay may sometimes work and they don't do what they say they'll do. At least I trust that they may do what they say they do, sometimes at least.

Hello All and thank you for your posts!
I've been attempting to purchase an ALDI talk recharge voucher on the internet and have not had any luck. I've tried:
https://secure.verivox.de/cards/index.asp
as recommended by razfaz, but cannot see how to get a voucher from this site (admittedly, my limited German doesn't help)
Does anyone have any advice for getting an ALDI talk recharge voucher on the 'net, or is it true that you can only get them from ALDI shops in Germany?
Thanks
