From today, all of our business customers can now access local rates, not roaming rates, when in the Netherlands.

Initially, the new Netherlands rates are only available for business customers however individual SIM card users will be able to access local rates in the Netherlands in the coming months.
Well this will be something to look forward to.

I hope they aren't making agreements a country at a time, because their "18 months" have passed and hey're still in only 3 countries.

Within 18 months we’ll be in over 20 countries, now that’s an offer not to be sniffed at.

Tru has announced in their forum that in October 2011 they'll be active in Spain, but only for business customers. In 2012 they'll be active also for the private customers.

I've used their SIMs in the three countries where they already operate, UK, US, and Australia, and service + prices are excellent, but they rapidly need to expand their country list. I don't understand if the problems are technical or contractual/legal. They've been saying "coming soon" for nearly two years!

They should have been operating in 20 countries some months ago, but they're still in only 3 countries.

The idea is nice, but € 5,00 per month per number is quite a bit.

you only need to pay the $8 (or Euro5) for the time when you travel - so I'll pay it for a month when I go to the UK to reactivate my UK number. And people in the US can still reach me on the permanent US number.

Cant find much info on the site. Have a few questions though.
I guess it means that when I dont pay the 5 eur, the number will be deactivated?
When I reactivate would I get the same number back?
Lets say I have two number on the sim, I get called to one, but am in the other country, I still receive the calls for free?

Would be good as my girlfriend will go to spain for 5 months next year. Then I could call her on her Dutch number and she would receive it for free in Spain and have her spanish number to receive local calls as well.

Yes you get the same number you activated before. If you want to change it you can email Tru's customer care.
