Awayphone Sims - No Credit but Active - Notice from C9 Mobile

As way of introduction, I am Wholesale Sales Manager for Cloud9 Mobile International exclusively looking after the Global Roaming Business for Cloud9. Cloud9 based in the Isle of Man is the mobile division of Wire9 Telecom Plc based in the UK.

Just for information, whilst Awayphone have ceased trading, we as the ultimate MNO have made provision for these sims to be serviced by another of our resellers and so the sim cards are live.

Unfortunately the prepaid credit will have been lost but the service is still live for all Awayphone sims. Inbound calls will only work with a balance over £1.00 on the card, and outbound calls obviously need credit to work.

If you have an Awayphone SIM then please call 154 from your handset where we can apply some more credit (Minimum £10) if you want to keep the number and service. Please do not use any other method for topup as the payment will not get to the right place!

Please note, those who bought Awayphone sims via their white label resellers such as Cellular Abroad in the USA and Roadpost in the USA are not affected as these service providers have chosen to take a direct relationship with us at Cloud9.

Those who are using sims from other Cloud9 resellers are also unaffected.

For information, if you are unsure if you have an Awayphone provided Cloud9 sim you will find these were all printed on white plastic only and contain no branding at all. All our other resellers have fully branded sim cards printed.
