Geosim giving extra starting credit

Up until now Geosim were only giving £5 initial credit with a new SIM costing £30, but today I noticed on some numbers they are giving £10. It states "today only". (Is this a marketing trick?)

I have not been monitoring them long enough to see if they do this sort of promo periodically, but it maybe a good excuse to get one of these cards, which I always thought was marginally better than the others because of 6 second billing increments!
