They did say that balances can be transferred.

The number given is a Jersey one, but I've done a couple of test calls and they come out of my free UK O2 allowance. So, I'll pay 7p per min to receive a diverted call while I'm abroad against O2's ... 7p a minute! The only thing is that if O2 Travel is activated, you pay a flat rate of 50p per message received.

I want one that's free to receive - 07mobile.com | 100% Free Roaming | No Expiry | No Fees ! looks good, but their website doesn't fill me with confidence...

what he meant is that he pays inbound 7p/min with truphone whereas the sim4travel was free inbound. So he does not have any benefit against his O2 UK card which also cost 7p/min for call reception abroad...
