All US 800 numbers can be reached from most providers. There is then a warning message that the call is not toll-free from outside the USA; this would confuse people who I hadn't explained the call routing to, and also wastes about 20 seconds.
I'll still use the 0844 routing to my Enlinea number in future, but probably not to Liechtenstein any more. |

However there is a delay of several (at least three) rings before it forwards, so the caller has already sat through many rings before you get the first forwarded ring, so they tend to wonder what took you so long! On a few calls at least the quality has been awful, with long delays making it sound like a poor satellite connection. Not really recommended for a long-term solution. BTW, last time I checked the 09 Iceland numbers couldn't be reached from Skype (nor 056 UK Voip numbers). Voip: Localphone UK, Anveo US, Google Voice |

Thanks
- odd that 3 ring delay, I get that somewhere else ... and one of the Enlinea/Riiing calls I made last summer had about a 3 second delay still that's given a couple of ideas to try ... |

I've been using CBW in Europe the last week. Seems to still be working pretty good. It still doesn't work worth a hoot in China and other parts of Asia. Spotty in Australia.
Can someone give me a quick idea of how Skype-In can work with Riiing? You can configure the call to forward to your Riiing number? Thanks. ** TravelSim (so far, primary) ** ** TIM (new, just trying it out) ** ** Verizon (when I'm not traveling) ** Sony Ericsson k3001 for my sim cards, LG enV3 |
