in Bangkok i use SIM cards from TOT brands in a USB modem. Real-life speeds vary between 3 and 6 Mbit and the coverage is excellent. My modem only allowes a max speed of 7.2 Mbit so i can not tell about the higher speeds (but usually when surfing on international websites you can not expect high speeds on the thai internet, only when surfing on domestic websites).

Germany: o2 blue all-in L, simquadrat
Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi)
International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31
