Default Going to Denmark - 24-04-2015, 18:56

Almost a year has passed since I asked for information about Finnish prepaid SIM cards, and now I am planning a summer holiday with my wife, this time in Denmark.
I plan a one week vacation, and will need the SIM card mostly for navigation (hope that Denmark is reasonably mapped for Waze) Skype and some general surfing where WiFi is not available, but voice capability is important, mostly for incoming calls.
Can anyone help with finding a reasonably priced SIM and repaid plan?

a market survey of prepaid SIM cards for data in Denmark, you find here:

http://prepaid-data-sim-card.wikia.com/wiki/Denmark

As you need voice mainly only for incoming, there is not much difference between them on the voice side. So choose any of these above which have voice too and are not data-only.

Yhanss

I need mostly data (for use of Waze navigation), voice will be nice but less important.

know the wiki but I am not sure whether it is up to date.

Anoher question: is VoIP over cellular data blocked in Denmark?

I'm not sure if this is still relevant for you, but I'm a native and have not had any problem with voip on any sim-card from any of the 4 operators.
Haven't checked all on the wiki, but the oister part is still active, and on national tv, they are advertising an upgrade to 4G right now. Unfortunately that is not represented on their webpage so whether or not that also applies to prepaid i can't tell..

Thank you, but I just returned from a lovely holiday in Denmark.
I bought a Lebara SIM (DKK 49) at the airport and added a 2 GB data package (DKK 99), which was far more then enough for my uses, mainly navigation using Waze and some Whatsapp and Skype voice.
