Libero6x is a software you can download HERE (Win & Mac), but I think it uses some proxy. I never used it so I cannot say much, maybe AndreA or Faquick can tell you more!

I just downloaded and tried the software.
It indeed uses a proxy and works very fine also on my SDSL-line at work so its not limited to WIND cards.
It has a traffic-saving ratio of 1:5 here at the moment which is quite cool already.

Thanks for the link!

Greetings,
Chris

I have installed this program on my ADSL as well. Works very well. Saving ratio with reasonable graphics quality is about 5:1. Just short waiting for the data. About 0.5-1.5 second.

Interesting - in fact, the mention of Slipstream and Web Accelerator 5.0 shows that this is the same product as under the Onspeed brand.

What does the 15 May date mean? Is this a free trial, or permanently free to Libero customers [and anyone else that hears about it]?

Sorry to ask, but even the Google translation isn't quite clear about this - free to Libero, trial for others?

Exceptionally in test, until 15 May 2006, he is usable even if it is annoying with an other provider; in this case you will not be able to use the functionalities of acceleration tied to the mail.

Permanently free for Libero/Wind customers, after 15th of May you'll be able to use it ONLY with Wind/Libero, no other providers.

Hello,
meanwhile the software only works with a italian ISP dialup and not with the WIND card anymore (if i understood the website correct).

Does anyone know a similar service that is free of charge?

I'd be happy for any hints

Hi,

what a great service to mail the Wind card to us. Thanks in advance.

I am coming to Rome next month and I am also interested in buying the wind prepaidcard. In addition the mega no limit is ideal for my laptop I am planing to take along.
I still have one more question: To end the data option I have to send a SMS. When exactly do they deactivate the option? I read your explanation at the beginning, but I still don't know, if the option is canceled 30 days after I used it last or is it canceled 30 days after I activated it? I am just curious, because I will need the card again in october.
Where there any problems recharging the card with an international credit card? Italian post has a bad reputation in Germany How much will be the tracking option?

Greetings from Berlin

Jan
