Default BNEsim with unlimited Data in Europe - 29-05-2018, 12:56

Hello

I'm currently using this great simcard which offers you real unlimited Data. In Germany it only workes in the O2-Network but don't worry the Connection is LTE very fast.

You can also have 1 GB if this is enough for you.

Looks good, thanks for the info.

It seems to be an only data sim, calls are made via their voip app (so calls are using your data credit an dont use the data credit when on wifi).

The only problem I see is that the service is cut if you don't top up every 6 month. Even if you have some credit left.

So, if you have some credit left but don't top up again after 6 month, incoming calls on your number are blocked even if you are on wifi? This is very bad and makes it an unreliable phone number you can't depend on.

This concept looks great, but they shouldn't block incoming calls on your number via wifi, at least if you have some credit left.

Yes, the credit doesn't expire (good). But the sim is blocked if you don't top up every 6 month. You can use your remaining credit again after you top up. If you don't top up the sim is blocked.

There are several apps that offer the same service with incoming phone numbers.

So it looks more interesting to use this sim with another app that gives you an incoming number in the same way.

This way, when your sim is blocked after 6 months you can still receive incoming calls.

Again : I love the concept, but they really shouldn't block the app incoming calls on your number when the sim is blocked every 6 months.

And the 35€ unlimited data package is not renewable? Does this mean that after you use it once you can only get limited data packages?

Do I understand the faq right?

Does this mean you can use the unlimited data package only once in the life of your sim? :

Code:
The Europe UNLIMITED and Asia UNLIMITED are starter plans and not renewable. Once the plan is expired, if you want to continue to use the SIM card, you will need to top it up with any data package using the in-app selfcare or the online selfcare.

And you can purchase an incoming number DID for 12 months. But according to the faq you can't receive any incoming calls if you don't top up every 6 months (even if you have credit, your credit is blocked until you top up).

So you are paying for a 12 months number you can't use even on wifi?

This is not clear at all (same regarding the unlimited package you can purchase only once?). I tried to chat with customer service, but they aren't available.

Please report back if you have or get any answers.

Another issue according to the faq: you can SMS any number in the world, but you can't receive any incoming SMS (only from people using the app).
