Is there any SIM out there with really cheap SMS rates?

Do any offer a flat SMS charge throughout Europe?

I understand that some of the SIMs from the Philippines have some good rates on SMS roaming. I don't know if that only includes SMS back to the Philippines or not. One other way to get cheap SMS while roaming is to use smsBug with a Java phone and a SIM that provides GPRS roaming.

I like SMSbug. I'm looking for an SMS forwarding service, however, that would permit me to have forward an SMS to the e-mail of my choice. I have an international Blackberry plan and hate the idea of paying US$0.35 to receive an SMS on a device that I can receive e-mail on for free.

I ended up getting a Virgin Mobile UK SIM and using the GPRS and www.fastmail.fm 's SMS service, through SMTP. You can set your originating SMS number to whatever you please.

USD 0.12c/SMS.

Receiving SMS on Virgin Mobile seems to be free.

Receiving SMS is always free on European simcards. SMSbug is good but not very reliable (expecially with Italian numbers...), I think MobiSMS works better...
