Always start you search on this site:
http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/

There are two operators:

1. Airtel Burkina Faso

2. Onatel

But GSM World is not always right... There are actually 3 GSM operators.

Airtel (formerly Zain) has been sold to Orange. But it's not rebranded yet.

It's generally seen as best provider with 2G/3G and "3.75G":
French Website with offers:

Onatel
(formerly Telmob, old incumbent provider, now mostly owned by Maroc Telecom is the "leader in telecommunications" in Bukina Faso offering "3G+" in some towns. Coverage is almost as good as Airtel/Orange and they have CDMA too, but users complain about low data speed and dropped calls.

A 3rd provider called Moov (formerly Telecel Faso) can not be recommended, because of low coverage and no 3G at all.

Cross-network calls are very expensive. That's why locals often have 2 or 3 SIM cards or dual-SIM phones.

Well no, the information on the site is not incorrect, but it might be incomplete. That´s not the same thing.
