The US cellular carrier Verizon just reduced their price of contract data roaming in 120 countries if you prepay for their 100 meg international data package:

New Verizon Wireless Global Data Plan Takes The Guesswork Out Of International Travel

It is not a good deal as prepaid, but it is a decent rate for roaming. At this rate it beats abroad and and Maxroam.
