UM+ & Croatia - arrrrgh!!! -
23-09-2007, 20:08
My UM+ SIM is currently away on its first trip abroad - my youngest brother took it for a week to Croatia.
The pdf file with the price of UM+: http://www.united-mobile.com/downloa...en_um+_eur.pdf says that there's a coverage in Croatia since it's listed in the Zone 1. However, the rate calculator says that there's no UM+ coverage in Croatia: http://www.united-mobile.com/cms/web...rom=380&to=254. Jersey Telecom roams in Croatia (VIPNet): http://www.jerseytelecom.com/upload/...ers_160807.pdf The truth is in the middle: incoming calls and SMS both ways work but outgoing calls don't . My brother has the old +423 (Riiing) SIM too, but carelessly I left only 2.73 € credit on it . It would be nice if UM reversed some of balance transfer (I don't like to buy 25€ top-up for the +423 SIM). My brother has also an Orange Poland SIM but the outgoing rates are about 1.30€/min (non-EU zone) . For the first time I feel really disapponted with the UM... |

One solution would be to use CBW. Tha rates are cheaper than the Polish sim and works well now with +423

You mean triggering the callback with Polish SIM and redirecting it to UM+? Hmm, good idea but I must update a credit card info in my CBW account because the current one expired... I hope it won't take long...
