Vodafone's presence in Sweden is no more. If you go to the www.vodafone.se website, you are forwarded to www.telenor.se where you'll find a paint brush there! They expect you to help repaint the website from red to blue!

So from today the network is Telenor, the site is purely in Swedish (maybe something to do with the fact that they are in Sweden... I don't know) but from taking a brief look around, Telenor customers are still able to use Vodafone Live as well as benefit from Vodafone Passport.

It's the second time that this operator changes name and colours!

From the red and grey Europolitan...

...to the similar red and white of Vodafone...

...till the blue and white of Telenor!

We could see someting similar if TIM Greece will become Wind Greece, starting from Telestet, becoming TIM and then Wind (or Orascom).

Anyway also Sonofon in Denmark and Pannon in Hungary have the same logo as Telenor now, but they kept the original name... quite strange, expecially in Denmark the name Telenor could be good, while Hungary is actually not such a nordic county!

Yes it is. And now Passport is including also some new operators in nordic countries; Sonofon in Denmark, Elisa in Finland and Telenor in Norway.

That's really strange: Telenor group (including Sonofon and Pannon) is member of the Starmop Alliance, which is "rival" of Vodafone Group and Freemove. But now they enter the "Passport crew"... really strange...

Maybe that's a sign of moving away from that alliance. I doubt that they'll stick with both since it contradicts the whole concept of remaining faithful to one club
