Camel Mobile is not a cheap in EU, see better tariff...The cheapest country in the EU only Austria and Great Britain, 0.25c, and Other EU countries of 0.30c!
("xxsim" for all EU countries is one tarif, 0.19c, no extra cost)

Rates - CamelMobile

Countries with high rates - CamelMobile

My favorite sim and VoIP for roaming in Europe and worldwide:

UWT-mobile and Xxsim: for call+sms in Europa extern and Worldwide
ToggleMobile: for internet+call+sms only in EU intern
(VoIP/Sip) FriendCaller or SipCall.ch
: Worldwide sms+call

the rates you post aren't the updated ones.
Camel introduced new rates within EU since 1st July 2012

all customers, as i am, received by email attachment the new rates... since 29/06/2012.
their website will be completely renewed in a few days, so i suppose that is the reason their old website is not updated with the new reduced voice/sms/data rates.

all these years i have tried all availible roaming simcards, I was never such satisfied as with camelmobile, including the variety of services offered, the quality and the pricing of their service.

*they have also launched (since mid-July) the new direct calling function to most european countries! no callback anymore!

I find it interesting that they are quoting roaming rates in North Korea. To the best off my knowledge, there are no roaming agreements in place for North Korea. I don't even think China Mobile (or Unicom) has a roaming agreement.

The rate list you are referring to is for calls TO these countries, not while beeing IN these countries... (of course also the amount of numbers to call inside north korea will be quite limited indeed...)

Germany: o2 blue all-in L, simquadrat
Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi)
International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31

Worse than that. If you show up in DPRK with a mobile phone the only roaming you'll be doing is back and forth in your prison cell.

And I can only imagine what they would do if I showed up in the DPRK with my Iridium satphone (one of the few countries where it's banned for political reasons).

North Korea has official mobile phone service through a 3G network set up by Orascom of Egypt called Koryolink. Other than high handset prices the average worker can not afford, international direct dial is blocked and some handset functions are deliberately disabled. Unofficially near the North Korea/China border, some people use smuggled Chinese phones to call internationally on Chinese networks that can be accessed: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/repor...rticle4103903/

Orascom did sign an agreement with roaming provider Link2One http://www.mach.com/en/News-Events/P...ne-Roaming-Hub but I highly doubt this would ever lead to any official roaming on Koryolink.
