Just an update to confirm that UM +423 cards STILL will not register on any Guatemala network, despite UM claiming to have a +423 roaming agreement there for almost a year now!

As others suggested, I bought a local card (Claro) for about $5 US that included 40 minutes with free incoming. Combined with CallbackWorld and it worked like a champ!
