Smile GT-SIM: free incoming in ECC countries - 04-09-2007, 08:59

Hello,

GT-SIM price list (http://www.gt-sim.com/prices/prices.php?lang=eng) was changed recently: incoming calls in all "ECC-countries" are now 0 Cent per minute

One question to the guys in the U.S.: does someone of you own a GT-SIM? I wonder, because incoming calls were told to be free in your "home country" (price-list: "Incoming calls in your selected home network (country of residence) are free of charge").

If your home country is the U.S. - are incoming calls then free too?

Regards,
Klaus

No, you can only get the free call in your home country if it is a country without surcharge. If not you will pay the surcharge.

I guess so. Interesting is: Romania incoming free, Bulgaria incoming 38 Cent/minute. Shouldn't these two countries have the same status in the EU?

Norway and Switzerland are 38 Cent per minute (makes sense, non-EU).

Beside of the issue with Bulgaria and Romania, I did not find any "irregularities".

Klaus

Default Affordable rate - 24-09-2007, 09:39

Gt-sim has more affordable rates then UM+ on OUTGOING calls (on most mobile is 38 cents/min vs 59 cent/min+25cents fee on call. It's interesting for me.
The question: is Gt-sim reliable as UM?
thx

My call blue sim became a GT-SIM and i find them fine. Billing is good, and they have a facility to top you up automatically once your credit falls below 5 dollars, (or whatever they charge in). Greta web site where you can view all bills, and all calls.

I've used them throughout Portugal, Spain and Italy so far, out at sea, and in some fairly remote places.

I have both the Euro and Aussie versions of the GT-SIM, www.gt-sim.com and www.gt-sim.com.au, with the Euro version being what you are discussing.

It is a very good SIM card and service all round, can't fault them at all
