Default Anyone use motofone f3 with united mobile? - 06-09-2007, 19:05

Anyone use the motofone f3, the small cheap one with United Mobile?
I’ve been having trouble getting the phone to dial back?

Tried 001areacodenumber
+1areacodenumber
+001areacodenumber

089 gets me balance

I've successfully tested the F3 with mit UM+ SIM, but no idea if it work with the old UM SIM.

I dialed from Germany to Germany with the common international prefix (+49...).

I grabbed one for abour $20 the other week for a pal.

Very impressed with the F3, but it's GSM functions are stripped down IMHO.

Tried used it with a UM+ (Jersey Telecom number) SIM card and callback didn't operate on any of the UK networks. Inbound calling was okay on Orange, Vodafone and O2, but I think the SIM had problems registering on T-Mobile for some reason.

Probably best to avoid using this cheapie phone with UM+

So, I guess the issue was that just PRESSING the green go button, doesn't actuate the dial. One has to HOLD it for a second, and THEN it will actually dial. Call back working fine now in France.
