Default Recharge UK SIM cards from abroad online - 03-01-2009, 23:41

Hello,

due to my use of a UK three SIM card I was searching for a possibility to top-up from anywhere in Europe.

After a long time search I found two places:

www.topups247.com

http://www.ekmpowershop8.com/ekmps/s...pups/index.asp

topups247.com is quite expensive compared to the second shop.

If you are in the need to top-up from outside UK you may like these solutions.

Has anyone had any success with these two companies?

Yes, I toped up successfully. I used both of them and it went all well.

Step in contact with them before you start processing a top up so they know that it´s a foreign CC you will use.

I purchased a topup code from Ecommerce Software | Shopping Cart Software by ekmPowershop but when I tried to activate it both via the website or the telephone I receive an error message. Now it is the middle of the night in the UK, and I was getting lots of time out errors on the website, so do you think they are just doing maintenance on their systems or did I get a bad code?

Thanks

I´m just wondering myself where do you ordered it on the website? As far as I know the website is closed, at the moment, to new customers.

I bought my last topup a few days ago and had no problems with toping up.

Did you tried to call 444 and enter your topup through your mobile? If not call the customer care service from 3 and let them enter your topup code manually in their system.

Yeah I tried both from 444 and the website. I saw that the website was closed to new customers, but I emailed them and they said they would process the order anyways. I emailed them again to tell them I was having problems and they said they'd issue me a new topup so I'm sure it'll work out...they've been very responsive as I try to figure out what's going on.

Just a quick update..the folks at the website issued me a new topup number and it worked with no problems. Their customer service was very responsive and I was impressed.
