09 Mobile: Are there setup procedures for SMS ?

I've been using 09 Mobile service for about one year, testing it in the US and using it operationally in Austria, Germany, Hungary and the Slovak Republic with reasonable results. It recently came to my attention that SMS services were available on 09. I was successful in sending out an SMS to my US phone, but have not been able to send an SMS to the 09 phone. Are there special settings that I need to set up to make it work ??

I tried re-registering networks to see if it would refresh, with no luck. Also tried contacting 09 Customer Service, but have had no luck in getting an answer. . .

Any takers ??

I can easily accept sms to 09 from Greek networks (and fast). What I have noticed is that this happens if the phone is switched on only! If it is switchjed off the sms does not arrive....

you mean the network doesnt store it? Hmm lemme try... I'll post my result later on.

gets delivered after switching on the 09 card without problems. How did you test it actually?

Strange.... I tried it 3 times 3 days ago. I did sent the sms by having the 09 switched off. I switched it on a few minutes later and did not received anything...

I will try again today and inform

hold your breath and enjoy when it works.... you can never be sure with the 09 card

The most important is that it works! Even when the phone is switched on! That is very good!
