Country:
Default WORLDSIM again - 06-03-2013, 01:19

While trawling on ebay I came across an american seller selling WORLDSIM sims for $20 with a $20 credit.
I previously had one of their sims a few years back but gave it up when the started charging a pound a month for it.
That is no more.

They have some interesting qualities. A US phone number with 25cent calling/receiving in the USA. They have 11 obscure roaming partners in the USA. They have very inexpensive, mostly free call forwarding. This I think would most attract us here as a means to call, say Europe, for free.

Here is a list of roaming partners:

11 in the USA beside AT&T and T-Mobile.

Here are their call forwarding rates:

Many countries are free.

Expiration:

Quote:
with WorldSIM your SIM card will remain active for a full 365 days since the last activity on the SIM.
A US phone number is also included. You have no choice on what it is. They gave me one in Texas.

To retain your US number you must receive a call on it in the USA at least once every 60 days, otherwise you will be assigned a new US number.
I have not seen much here recently about WORLDSIM. Perhaps it has become
a useful option for some of us.
