Hello UM423 fellows and fans,

My UM423 still registers to Germany T-Mobile, Vodafone and E-Plus, but not to o2.

Until the last days voice calls from outside to UM423 were possible.
Textmessages incoming were switched off, 2-3 month ago.

But if call my number yesterday or today I 'll be forwarded to the voice mail.

A problem with my account or the last chapter of the sUM423-tory?

What's with your SIM-cards?

still registers on Vodafone UK, always has

I suspect other providers will be as I said on 17/10, and I won't try, but BT landline, which did ring the phone then, now reaches a voicemail message

Hello Prion,

you're right, the UM 423 SIM-Cards can be reached again (since yesterday 5th Nov, evening)
Incoming calls are possible (i did a test-voice-call for round about 1 minute

I cannot say, what's happening there at the moment in detail.

If you like to bet, see to your bet-shop and place a bet on United-Mobile

BTT: I'll try to find out some more stressable news, if possible. Stay tuned.

Hello everyone,
I guess everyone is still waiting and hopes for his number, uh? Same here...

Well, I just tried to call my UM number... here are the updated results (tests took place a couple of minutes ago):

Calling from land line, rings perfectly... I even picked it up, and was able to talk. Making a notice here, that the voice was not delayed at all and it was crystal clear! (previously voice was kind of bad and with a lot of delay - up to 1-2 seconds... seems someone is working on it??? )

Call from my Vodafone mobile number, rings perfectly, and can speak - very clear too.

Send sms from my Vodafone mobile number, nothing is received.

From UM number though, I can place no calls, or send any sms...

Caller ID also works from my Vodafone mobile and land line.

This afternoon (09 November) "Die gewählte Rufnummer ist vorübergehend nicht erreichbar... Please try again later."

The bet offices could have sleepless nights

Good Evening,

the UM 423 SIM-Cards cannot be called at the moment. I don't know if this is a temporarily issue (constructing a new network/platform) or if they've decided to switch off all the issued SIM-cards and numbers.

The UM 44 cards are gone, for ever I think. Dialing the +44 7937 gives you an announcement, that this numbers are invalid.

There are some rumours about problems with some +44 7624 and/or +44 7924 SIMcards. Ex-German-Provider "globalsim" has left Germany and can only be reached by email at this time. Gobalsim started its business with "Riiing" SIM-Cards issued by ... United-Mobile.
