Default I've been doing this 8 years - onesimcard got it right - 26-02-2013, 21:32

Hey guys,

I'm not even sure why anyone would even bother with another SIM. I've had many of them over the last 8 years. And im very demandng for the highest level of technology. I travel 150k miles a year worldwide, every year. But onesimcard Is now the. gold standard of true intl roaming SIMs. Up till now, recently, I used globalsimcard and UWT. And UWT has also been phemnominal. its an Estonian plus add local number SIM. but omesimcard takes it a step up. With the onesimecard, you don't even have to consider the Estonian number. Just add on one of the 20+ country local numbers, even of course USA, for $20 a year, and most of your incoming calls worldwide will be 20c a minute, and outgoing in Europe averages 35c a minute with their Europe plan, and around 50-70c a minute otherwise.

The really nice thing about this card is you can record your own outgoing voice mail message, which is something very few others, if any, have done, and you can also have your voicemails emailed to you. Although I haven't used it yet, they also have a concierge service. Plus there's auto recharge.

And the web site is quite comprehensive re. Settings.

For me there is no other need for any other card. And I travel everywhere. And this card has been totally reliable. I forward my normal US umber into the onesimcard US add n number I bought, and receiving calls on my normal number is transparent to my callers.

Strongly recommended.

Default Questions - 27-02-2013, 01:05

Thanks for the report.
Do you use data?
Do you use VOIP?
How long have you had this card? [Is it the 'Plus' card? Which is the only one they now sell.]

I use data and VoIP, but I don't need this card for that. I have a grandfathered $70/mo unlimited Int'l data plan SIM, that I put in a mifi, and connect my iPad, iPhone, and Galaxy S3 to, and I use approx 1.5 GBs a week while I'm abroad. But, the VoIP quality is on many occasions not great (or available), so the onesimcard is really only a voice card for me, and that's what I'm really reporting about.

For data though, there seems to be a few services popping up, offering unlimited Int'l data in a mifi, for $15-20 a day

Here's my international headquarters charging up every night. Taken with the iPhone 5 with the obesimcard in it. Since I have Tmobile on my Galaxy, I also have wifi calling theu the mifi. Plus I use Skype and Line2 on VoIP. Onesimcard also offers a nice VoIP add on free app with their service!

Oh, and as I just got the card, it's the plus service only now.
