Default Ikea, Cheapest UK PAYG Sim? - 08-08-2008, 21:10

Just come across this site, http://www.familymobile.co.uk/ payg sim card from Ikea.
Using T-Mobile network. Good prices 9p / min UK calls (landline & UK Mobile networks), 6p UK Texts. No minimum usage requirements. Need a UK address to send the sim card to. Cheapest prepaid in the UK at the moment I think.

Data isn't particularly cheap -- 80p a megabyte. Otherwise it seems like a good all-rounder, though the minimum call charge of 9p is a bit of a drag (just like once-cheap Virgin Mobile).

It is a good rate compared to other UK pre-paid cards for data

Nice feature on ordering SIM card is a good choice of numbers to choose from.
