I tried the 2nd link and it worked -- said my Sim card is on the way! I wonder if they will let me top up before I leave?

No. I didn't give any credit card info. I later tried to do the same on Lebara.fr. It took my address, I got an e-mail confirmation from them but I am not sure I will ever see the Sim.
