Default Free France Prepay SIM? - 24-02-2017, 13:38

Hello all: Bonjour a tout!

I am in France many months per year and out of EU about 1/2 year. I do not have a French FreeBox or landline, as I normally rent.

I need a prepaid SIM to use mostly in France for text and calls, little use for data. I had Lebara, but they cut it when it was unused for too long.

Free Fr had some good plans years ago,

I need to find the best plan, either Free Fr or another, and how to get a new French mobile number and SIM.

I prefer prepay without expiration of credit, so my SIM and credit will not be lost during the long periods I am out of France.

Any recommendations for Free France or another carrier?

Many thanks for your assistance!

Mille Mercis,

Jean-Paul

You can jump between the monthly 2E & 19.99E plans as needed. Order online or at Free kiosks.

Sorry, but to give the user this information only, means to fool him/her. Changing plans is a bit more complicated and costly:

Source: http://mobile.free.fr/assistance/488.html

Transfer from a €19.99 plan to a €2 plan: If you are customer of a €19.99 for more than 3 months, you can change to the €2 plan. This will cost you €10 for the plan change.

If you have a €2 plan you can migrate to €19.99 very easy. No fee.
