One thing to consider is the concept of
Adverse Selection. If a company sets up a product offering based on what they feel an average person will do, then they run into a well informed bunch like we have here, it can play havoc with their business model. While we don't encourage "secret" knowledge of the products (as in the case of a classic Adverse Selection), we do like to explore all the nooks and cranies, to learn all the best and cheapest way to use these products. This is why I would encourage any company to price their products so that they make something on each aspect of the product's use.
