Default New MVNO in Greece... - 13-12-2006, 13:20

Service wise, they are just the same as any other Vodafone prepaid. They don't even hide that fact. What I personally noted is the cheap rates to send sms to international numbers from Greece, it's the same as a local sms.

Καρτοκινητή Champion

The connection package costs €5 with €5 free included on the card. I didn't notice this on Carrefour's website but I did see on Vodafone's website that the free €5 is paid as €1 per month for the first five months

To top up...

You can top up your mobile at the check out of Carrefour, Champion Marinopoulos & 5’ Marinopoulos. Just inform the assistant how much you wish to top up by and a reciept with your top up code will be printed. You can select from €3, €5, €10, €15, €20, €30 and €50 reciepts.

You can also purchase Vodafone branded top up cards at the kiosks or even top up in a Vodafone store.

You can top up from another mobile by calling 1254 or from a fixed line by calling 694 400 1254. (Exactly the same procedure and numbers as for Vodafone own branded prepaid).

Call 1252 for the prepaid menu (again the same as VF)

Validity is shorter than Vodafone. Top up cards last for six months, you get 30 days grace period after this time to reactivate your account before your number is deleted.

The services are exactly the same as what Vodafone offer on their prepaid packages. You can even use Vodafone live! ... the only product not mentioned is Vodafone Passport for when roaming overseas.
