I e-mailed yesss about this. Their response was that they don't accept non-Austrian cards and that if my Canadian CC was debited the €20 I should contact them again. So far the charge hasn't appeared on my card.
FWIW I just bought a €10 tele.ring SIM at a local phone shop. Same 1GB data but it lasts only 1 month. However connections and speeds on tele.ring are much better than they were on yesss (Orange?)
