That's correct. The reason for their withdrawal from the Austrian market is the continuing rejection of the Austrian regulatory authority RTR to allow VoIP providers the assignment of geographical numbers while at the same time not regulating subscriber tariffs for the randomly billed non-geographical number range available to VoIP providers (0720). As a result costs for inbound calls are incalculable for the caller which has severly been impacting market acceptance for sipgate.at.
