Ireland?

A friend is going on a vacation to Ireland. The information on the Irish page is a bit dated. I was wondering if anyone has studied the market recently and noticed if any prepaid SIMs have a particular advantage over the others?

Avoid the overloaded and poorest coverage Three network or any of the MVNOs that use it.

Eir and Vodafone both have good networks. 20 will get you unlimited Voice calls & 15GB on Eir. Eir also give 400 free texts if you use their MyEir app. Vodafone is more expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions. As it turns out, my friends left on their vacation before I could help them. They'll be paying AT&T for roaming.
